In the video, we see Alia discussing her experience of moving to a new house. “Moving out of my house was an incredibly special experience because it was the first time I was moving away from my home and into my own house… the whole process took about two years… Initially, I was gonna move in alone then I decided to take my sister along with me and she was more than happy. She decided to live part-time with me and part-time with my mom”, she said. 

Her enthusiasm about the house is clearly visible and while moving forward in the video the interiors and all the excitement about the house gives out a certain feeling of positivity in and around the location. 

This house can be called a dream house, as Alia has been planning it since her shooting days for the movie Shandaar (2015) when she met director Vikas Bahl’s wife, Richa Bahl, on the sets and immediately fell in love with her home decoration ideas. Love, at first sight, is what one can say about the enormous carved blue doors of Alia’s bachelorette pad. While the double door opening style ensures a full-arm hearty welcome for the guests, the teal blue colour of the door surely throws a cheerful shade along the entryway. The leafy carvings on the door bring out Alia’s love for rich ancient art and add hometown perseverance to the overall space. 

The story of the door does not end here. There is another door in the vessel that is meant to be strictly used for professional purposes.

Classics from the lodges or cottages of Switzerland in acquaintance with aesthetic NYC loft spread across the living room in an interesting way. What makes it even cosier is the pristine white brick walls, that doubles the size of the room, giving away space for a jumbo, soft and fluffy sofa, which speaks for itself. However, this inviting vibe of the living room would have been incomplete without the rustic charm of the concrete-tiled floors, lit with a lot of sunlight flooding in from expansive airy windows. 

Adding to the comfort is the friend's special corner with creamy, cloudy black-trimmed Roche Bobois couch, under the inbuilt shelf loaded with distinct, unusual trinkets like a golden giraffe, ivory candles, rusted bicycle, and some green leafy indoor plants, which ensures the presence of variety.  Additionally, when you read cheeky one-liners saying things like, ‘Wine Not?’ You are sure to get an idea of Bhatt’s fun-loving and bubbly side.

Our fun-loving princess did not miss out on fairy tale additions to her living room which can be easily seen by the Alice In Wonderland throw. And of course, she is a big fan of the classic too, so there is another piece from the book in her living room, which is a handmade poster. 

Artworks and photographs set in minimalistic black and white frames to retain originality can be seen throughout the living room. Strolling through the living space, you cannot miss out on the leather single-seater from Marina Home Interiors, Dubai, which compels you to browse through some good books. Probably that is the place, Alia chooses to read her scripts and prepare for her big projects.

Dressing up in the Dressing Room

With a separate entrance, one of the most important sections of the house is Bhatt’s dressing room. Space, mirrored walls, and white framework, all allow enough space for her to dress up for red-carpet events! 

The tiles are swept in shades of burnt orange, maroon, white and green, adding that fun element to the space.

The space where Bhatt can let her hair down, and have some good dreams. This bedroom is no less than a comforting sanctuary, with a large fluffy white bed with golden frames, patterned cushions, and adjustable table lamps. Alia Bhatt Residence: Alia’s Latest Real Estate Investment

In the same apartment complex where her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, owns his home, the actress recently acquired a second real estate investment. According to media sources, Alia paid Rs 32 crores for a residence on the fifth story of the Vastu Pali Hill complex, while Kapoor resides on the seventh. The Krishna Raj Bungalow of the Kapoor family, which is presently undergoing reconstruction, is also close to the apartment. 

The interior design work has been given to Gauri Khan by the actress in the meantime.
