March 30, 2020: Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi CM, has appealed industrialists, businessmen, and all well-to-do families to help the needy people during this trying time.   The Delhi CM has appealed to the landlords to not pressurise tenants for rent payment for two to three months, mentioning that the government will pay the rent if tenants are not able to. "I appeal to all landlords not to force tenants to pay rent for two or three months. Please postpone it for a few months. When the situation becomes normal, if anyone is unable to pay, the government will pay for them," Kejriwal said in a digital press conference. "If any landlord still forces his tenants to pay the rent, strict action will be taken against him," he added. In order to help the daily migrants, he has requested people to understand that gathering can be “dangerous” and stated that his govt is taking measures to ensure that these migrants get food and basic necessities during the period. Anand Vihar Bus Terminal in Delhi witnessed a sea of migrants and daily wage laborers on Saturday making queues to get a ride home. A lot of migrant workers desire to return to their hometowns and some facilities have also been arranged for the same. This step was initiated after many groups have attempted to walk back to their villages. The virus has infected 979 people in India so far.

I have not paid my room rent for the last 5 months. The landlord is forcibly and ₹ 25000 has been rented. At the moment, I have missed my job too. What should I do now?
