• Rs 2,000 Fine: The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has implemented a hefty fine of Rs 2,000 for anyone caught wasting water. This includes activities like:
  • Washing cars with hoses
  • Overflowing water tanks
  • Using domestic water supply for construction or commercial purposes
• 200 Enforcement Teams: To ensure compliance, the DJB has deployed 200 teams across the city to monitor and enforce the new regulations. These teams will be authorised to identify and penalise offenders.
