Transform your home
The best thing about walking into a hotel is the comforting vibe it gives you. It is a fresh, clean room, free of clutter and chaos, much unlike our homes. The way to achieve it is to try and get your home to look clutter-free and clean. Give up all that you don’t need and also things that you don’t like. If you hate the colour of the curtains, change it, hate the painting on the wall? Take it down. Make the space around you one you’ll enjoy.

Make your bathroom beautiful
We all love hotel bathrooms because they are neat, have some great toiletries, smell nice and have very good showers or tubs. You can even switch up the fragrances through the day or every day, based on how you feel.

Create a vacation playlist
Play the music you love that makes you feel like you’re on vacation. You can play some smooth jazz, some reggae music, or even EDM if that will help to make you feel like you’re in another place. Sing along, groove along and unwind.

Take a break from your chores
This is a tough one, when you’re at home you are tempted to clean up, cook and do all the chores that you normally do. Don’t. Take a break, order food home, make a list of all the food that you love and order accordingly. If burgers, pizzas, and other junk food make you feel like you’re on vacation, order it! If you want to have cake for breakfast, then go for it! You’re on vacation and no rules apply.
