Why is Bhu Naksha important?
It is critical to examine the Maha Bhunaksha (Bhu Naksha Maharashtra) website before purchasing to obtain information about the land you intend to purchase. Check out the land map of Bhu Naksha in Maharashtra to make an informed property decision. This eliminates the need for regular trips to the government offices to review these maps. There are no fees, and anyone who has the Bhu Naksha tool and is interested in learning more about the land can utilise it.
The legitimacy of the land piece is verified through Bhu Naksha. It becomes quite simple for purchasers to obtain all relevant information about the property. By checking the BhuNaksha data, one can avoid a lot of fraud. The Bhu Naksha defines the precise borders surrounding the land, preventing unauthorised occupancy.
Bhunaksha Maharashtra: Benefits
Before purchasing a home, double-check the plot information for the following:
- Landowner verification – The landowner's name and address can be found on Bhu Naksha.
- Records integration – On Bhu Naksha, you can get the ROR (Record of Rights) and the plot map. ROR is a document that contains information such as owner information, rent records, tenant information, liabilities, and also the Bhoomi map survey number.
- Saving time - Because plot records are updated online, they may be seen at any time. Citizens' efforts to visit government offices have decreased as a result of this.
- Plot size - The Bhu Naksha defines the plot's limits and size.
- Legality - Information on land disputes, if the plot is granted by the government for the public good, and so on can be obtained.

To check the Maharashtra land records online, you have to follow a few steps. They are described below:
Step1-Visit the official maha Bhunaksha Maharashtra website(https://mahabhunakasha.mahabhumi.gov.in/27/index.jsp#home-pane)
