One of the first things you’ll notice about her apartment is that it doesn’t have walls to separate the living room and the kitchen. This is done by using rugs, the huge rugs help to create a definite living room space.
3. Bold Colours
Her apartment is purple! Although we tend to miss it, the apartment is actually painted a bold purple. The bold colour scheme doesn’t just end here, the kitchen shelves are painted turquoise. One could never imagine these colours being used, but they look great together.
4. Neutral Sofas
Monica’s large 4–5-seater couch on Friends was a lovely cream colour and she had an armchair that was pale salmon. The use of different armchairs and neutral colours helped to tie the room together.

Her dining table was a simple round one, but what gave it oodles of character was the mix of chairs around her table. The chairs didn’t match and they changed through the seasons. The mix of chair colours and designs kept our focus.
