Noida Metro Aqua Line

The Noida Metro helps people in Noida travel quickly. It has one line called the Aqua Line. The Aqua Line is about 29.7 kilometres long and has 21 stations. The Aqua Line goes from Noida Sector 51 to Delata Depot Station in Greater Noida. It connects with the Delhi Metro Blue Line at Noida Sector 51 station. The Noida Metro started in 2019 and is necessary for travel in Noida and Greater Noida. It has made it easier to go around the city and has helped with traffic and air quality. 

Noida Metro Aqua Line Details

The Aqua Line is a 29.7-kilometre-long metro line with 21 stations. It starts at Noida Sector 51 metro station. The train goes through Noida Stations: Sector 50, 76, 101, 81, NSEZ, 83, 137, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, and 148. The Noida Metro starts at 6:00 am and ends at 10:45 pm. The whole route is elevated, meaning the tracks are above the ground. Every station has platform screen doors for safety. There is a connection to the Delhi Metro at the Noida Sector 52 metro station.

Noida Metro Timings

The Noida Metro trains usually start at 6:00 in the morning and run until 10:45 at night. The times when the first and last trains come can differ for each station. During busy times, the train comes every 7 minutes and 30 seconds. When it’s not busy, like on Mondays to Fridays, the train comes about every 10 minutes. On Sundays, the metro starts at 8:00 in the morning from both Sector-51 and Depot stations.

• Do stand on the left side of the escalators and move on the right. 
• Do move away from the escalators after using them.
• Do make way for people who need help.
• Do show your tickets when asked.
• Do be kind to other passengers.
• Do not drink alcohol or behave badly.
• Do take care of your things. 
• Do ask Metro Police for help if needed. 
• Do ask lady security guards for help if you are a woman. 
• Do remember the train stops for only 30 seconds.

Here are some of the offences and penalties of Noida Metro:

• Being drunk, breaking things, acting badly, or using bad words get you a fine of up to ₹500.
• Putting up posters or drawing on the Metro without permission can get you up to 6 months in jail and or a fine of up to ₹1000.
• Bringing dangerous stuff on the Metro can get you up to four years in jail and a fine of up to ₹5000. 
• Walking on the Metro tracks without permission can get you up to six months in jail or a fine of up to ₹500 or both.
• Stopping Metro workers from doing their jobs can get you up to one year in jail or a fine of up to ₹1000, or both.
• Selling tickets without permission can get you up to three months in jail and a fine of up to ₹500. 
• Travelling without a ticket will get you a fine of ₹50 plus the highest fare on the Metro.
