Recently SBI has started a new service which enables pensioners to submit their life certificates(Jeevan Praman Certificates) via video call.
Here’s how you can do that–
- Visit SBI’s PensionSeva website or download the mobile application.
- Click on the Video LC option on the landing page.
- Enter your pension account number, fill in the captcha and authorise the usage of your Aadhar.
- Click on Validate Account. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhar-linked mobile number.
- Submit the certificates and click proceed.
- Schedule a video call at your convenience.
- During the video call you will be asked to read out your verification code and show your pan card.
- After verification, the bank official will take a photo of your face. At the end of the meeting, you will receive confirmation about the status of the life certificate via SMS
