Table of Contents
With the known health benefits of tea, coffee is slowly becoming passé. So, step out and savour a wide range of teas at one of these cosy tea rooms in Bangalore. We promise you won’t come back disappointed.
Infinite Cunningham Road and Infinite Indiranagar
The older among tea rooms in town, this one embodies the beverage it stands for – warm and inviting. The one in Indiranagar is reminiscent of an old English tea house whereas the one on Cunningham Road is more kitsch. Pick from a wide range of teas from across the country, both flavoured and others. The menu lists the health benefits and characteristics of each tea and also makes for an interesting read. Watch the teas being infused in front of you, before you sip on these delightful beverages. Infinitea has quite a selection of food too, we recommend the delicious four-cheese pizza. The scones pair beautifully with a cup of Kashmiri Kahwa, go ahead and try it today.
Tea Brew, Cambridge Layout
Situated at the very edge of Indiranagar, Tea Brew is literally, a tiny nook for tea lovers. It may not be the perfect place for long conversation. We say this only because of their slightly cramped seating, but you can’t really blame them for making use of all the space they have. The selection of teas is interesting and the ginger tea served in a kullhad is rather fulfilling. The place offers you all short eats that go perfectly with tea - pakodas, momos and Maggi!

Socie-tea, Indiranagar
Located just off the 12th main road in Indiranagar, Socie-tea is the newest of the lot and offers quite the ambience for a relaxing cuppa. Pick from a conventional table-chair seat, or settle down on the floor, you'll find comfort with the mix of cushions and dhurries strewn around. We love the exhaustive tea and food menu that comes at incomparable prices. It's no wonder that it's bustling at all hours. There are cookies, buns, chat all the way up to pasta and even biryani. The masala chai has to be one of the highlights even though it comes served in a ceramic kullhad and not a traditional one!
Infinitea Tea Room and Tea store
Infinitea has it all, from Oolongs to exotic herbal and fruity mixes, Darjeeling to Assam, Green teas to white, floral teas to regular Kadhak chai. Their extensive selection of savouries and desserts is equally impressive. Some of the most popular options include nachos, chicken parmigiana, and Belgian dark chocolate cake. And that's not all the café has to offer; if you find yourself wishing you could steal some of their lovely tableware, don't despair. On your way out, you can also buy tea leaves and accessories.
