1. In a housing society, A flat is to be transferred in the name of the Purchaser through the transfer procedure.2. The purchaser has submitted the transfer documents, but there is no signature of the transferor ( seller ).3. Purchaser says, he has purchased the flat in 2010 & hence, now the seller is not traceable, in 2023. Purchaser has provided a copy of the agreement and Index-II, between seller & purchaser, which happened in 2010. 4. Should we (the committee ) accept the documents without the signature of the transferor on various transfer documents? 5. What is the procedure, that should be followed in such a case, to transfer the flat in the name of the purchaser? 6. What additional documents, declarations, affidavits on stamp paper etc. we should ask the purchaser to provide to complete the transfer process?
