Are Berger Paints Any Good?

Hi Samhita, I am writing this review to answer your query, is Berger Paint good quality? I would say no. I got a Berger Weather coat applied a couple of years ago on the exterior body of my house in Pune. However, the paint has started peeling and flaking. The paint promised 10 years, but it hardly lasted a couple of years. 

I also found that the paint quantity was less than the marked label. In a 1 litre container, the paint quantity was just 800 ml. That is like fooling the customer. 

The painting job cost me a decent amount of money and the paint didn’t even last for ⅕th of the promised time. I was told there was this issue because of dampness and nothing could be done. I mean it completely tosses out the durability of the weather coat paint. I won’t recommend using Berger Paints for sure. Instead, go for some other reputed and high-quality brand like Asian Paints to get your house painted. 

If you are wondering is Berger paint good quality, I can say that my experience with Berger has been quite positive. I can state with confidence that Berger paint is a good option because I've used it on multiple projects.

• Also, Berger paints are quite affordable, so based on my experience, Berger paint is definitely worth considering.

In January we moved into a new apartment and used Berger paints to give our living room a better look. The former colour was cream so we decided to give it a royal look by using the navy blue colour on the walls. Based on that, let me share my Berger paints review. 

We painted the walls navy blue colour in January only but after 1 month, in February end one wall seemed to have faded. We thought maybe it was the problem of the wall and it might have soaked a lot of paint so we ignored it. In April we saw that all the walls are having the same issue. There are patches clearly visible and we asked the owner to look into the matter. After scrutinizing the entire thing we realised that the Berger colour was of poor quality. Can you imagine? We hired a local painter to check what was the matter and he also cited the same reason. We are highly disappointed. Whenever I asked people- is Berger paint good quality, they always said yes it is but now I am seeing this. 

I have always used Berger paints to give our house the best look. As you know, Berger is one of the leading painting companies in India. I recently used their Silk Gamor paint, and OMG, it really gives the space a royal look. Here is what I need to say in my berger paints quality review. The paint is of 

• High quality

• Gives an elegant finish

• Gives a glossy look to the walls

• Washable

If you have kids like me, I will suggest you go for this paint. Let them draw on the walls, trust me after washing not a single line will be visible. Whenever people ask me are berger paints any good, I always say yes. Their paint quality is simply unmatchable. I am really happy and will rate Berger 5/5 in this Berger paints review. 

I also faced a similar issue, and I have nothing positive to say in my Berger paints review as well. I ordered a few waterproofing products from them online a few years ago They are a renowned company, so I did not even bother to check the expiration date. My husband checked after almost three days, when the painters had already started painting found that six out of the thirteen products had expired. All the containers had been opened since then, so we could not get them exchanged. However, we called their customer service regarding this issue, but they did not give us relevant answers. 

We had enough branded company paintings done and last time we hired NoBroker. They were actually better. They painted our living room three years ago and till now it looks like it got painted only a few days ago. So I will suggest not always going with the brand.
