What is Patta?
An important document that details who owns a certain piece of property are called a Patta. It provides details about the individual who is the legal owner of the property. It is also called a "Record Of Rights (ROR)". The owner of that property is considered to be the individual whose name is listed in the Patta.
Both pieces of land without structures and those with them require land patta. It is a key document confirming the legitimate owner of the property. It also contains information about the land itself, such as its dimensions and whether it is a commercial or residential property.
