Hey,

I live in a co-op society and as per my knowledge, the co-owner of the flat can become a committee member of the co-op housing society. Let me tell you about the associate member. It is a member who does not have any right to vote nor be voted upon but is still a society’s legitimate member. The Associate Members are admitted into the society after they file a form and pay a fee of Rs. 100/-.
