Hey,

In my knowledge a daughter cannot claim father’s self-acquired property before his death. It depends on the father if he is willing to give his property to you. If he creates a will or document which clearly states that he is transferring the property rights in all his senses to the daughter then the answer to your question can daughter claim father’s self acquired property when he is alive is yes.

If the father dies intestate, i.e., without making a will, then you can claim your share in the property being class 1 heir as per the succession law in India.

I hope now you know

can daughter claim father's self acquired property.
