Hi,

Private unclaimed land being unclaimed is automatically not owned by anyone. Therefore, the Government can acquire those properties for any purpose, whether to convert it to gomala, or for any other purpose. This is because the owner who claims his rights is not the actual owner as he does not possess any legal document for the same.
