Can I clean pooja room on Saturday?
As per Vastu, Saturday is considered to be a day dedicated to Lord Shani. He is known to rule the planet Saturn. Lord Shani is associated with difficulties, delays, and obstacles, and cleaning the pooja room on this day is considered to be inauspicious. Pooja room is considered to be the most sacred place in the home and cleaning it on a day governed by Lord Shani is believed to bring negativity and obstacles into one's life.
Cleaning the pooja room on Friday does not bring Kubera’s blessing. Lord Kubera is the God of wealth. Scholars say that Goddess Lakshmi’s blessing does not come without Kubera’s grace, that is why we should not clean the pooja room on Friday if Kubera’s grace is to be upon us.

There are certain days that are considered to be auspicious for this task. According to Vastu, the best days to clean the pooja room are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
