Can Registration Charges Included in Home Loan?

Home Loan covers almost all the expenses while buying a home but not all. I knew a home loan does not include stamp charges but

home loan including registration charges or not was unknown to me. The registration fee is the fee you pay to get the property registered in your name. It is usually 1% of the property or Rs 30,000 whichever is lesser. Both these charges are excluded from a home loan and need to be paid separately by the buyer. 

Can registration charges included in home loan?

A home Loan at no cost shall cover the registration and stamp charges. Don’t think registration charges included in home loan. You must be keeping aside an amount of money separately for these two. However, nowadays there are a few banks that are providing home loans including registration costs so discuss it with your bank’s officials.

The registration charge is 1% of the property in most states but the stamp duty differs a lot. It ranges from 2% to 8% as per the rule of the states. I know the stamp duty charge for some cities so let me share those

An individual can claim tax benefits on stamp duty and registration fees as per Section 80C. You can claim deductions in the year when these charges were paid.
