From what I understand about rules of inheritance, the property which is self acquired can be given by will to heirs or non heirs. But when it comes to ancestral property, it can only go to the coparceners including daughters. In case any stakeholder is denied his/her right and his/her part is sold without consent, then a legal action can be taken.
