Can You Paint Cork Board with Wall Paint?
You can use both latex and acrylic paint to transform your cork board. I had a simple design in my mind when I upcycled my board. Let me tell you what I did.
I used chalk paint and applied two coats on the board, after wiping off all the dust, and making sure it’s completely dry. You don’t really require priming here.
I wanted to design my board artistically, so I added a few lines in the middle using chalk and ruler. I was inspired by a design on Pinterest and was just trying to recreate it.
I used a stencil here to design the board, and then painted over it with a thin artist brush.
After I was done painting, I left it to dry. Then, I used a small damp towel to wipe off the leftover chalk marks.
