Hello Anjan, I built a wooden table with the help of a friend as a DIY thing this summer. I later realised that it was pressure treated wood and wasn’t sure whether it could be painted. So, I looked up, can you paint pressure treated wood or not? I found it is possible to paint pressure treated wood. But, you first need to know the perfect time to paint it, as it needs to be fully dry. Let me tell you more about this.
When Can I Paint Pressure Treated Wood?
You can find the right time to paint the wood. It must be completely dry before you paint. This is because painting while the wood is still damp, it’ll cause the boards to warp. You’ll also face paint adhesion problems.
You can first do the true moisture test to see whether the wood is ready to be painted. Dribble a bit of water on the wood and see if it soaks it immediately. If it does, the wood is ready to paint.
But, if the water won’t saturate quickly, you need to give it time.
You can leave it in sunlight to shorten the drying time of the wood. Also, if your wood hasn't been used for construction up till now, don’t let it sit directly on the ground.
If you want to understand how do you paint pressure treated wood, refer to Isha’s answer, which explains the method in detail. This is all. I hope it helps.

He told me to clean the area with soap and water to remove dirt and debris.
Then he told me that if the wood is in poor condition, I need to use a commercial deck wood cleaner.
After that, he told me to allow drying for at least 24 hours.

He said once dry, apply primer using a brush, roller, or sprayer.
After that, he said to let the primer cure as per the manufacturer's instructions, then apply exterior latex paint.
