Documents Needed:
  • Aadhar Card

  • Address Proof

  • Ration Card

  • Age Proof of the applicant

  • Caste Certificate of the parents

Note: In case the applicant is a minor, you will need Parents’ ID and an affidavit that specifies the applicant’s name, community, father’s name, and address;

Process:

Visit the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency portal

  • Log in your credentials

  • On the home page, tap on the “Services offered” button and search for the “community certificate” link.

  • Enter the relevant details in the form as well as upload the necessary documents.

  • Tap on “submit”

To download the community certificate, log in to this portal and tap on the “Check Status” button. After that, enter the Application Number to get the “Download Certificate” link.
