Hi there. It is an interesting question to think about, do you paint the inside of kitchen drawers? Well, I, as an interior designer, haven't seen people paint the insides of their kitchen cabinets. The majority of cabinets are stained or sealed on the inside. However, if you wish to paint the insides of your kitchen cabinets, feel free to do so. There is no rule that prevents you from doing so. Let me tell you more about this below.

Can You Paint Inside Kitchen Drawers?

It is a matter of choice. If you’d like to paint the drawers, go ahead with it. You can go monochrome and match the exteriors. If you want to add a bit of contrast and a colour pop, you can paint the interiors in a different colour, maybe a more vibrant or pale one, depending on the exterior.

However, I rarely found people do that as it is done as a protective measure against wear and tear. The insides are only seen when they are opened, so it is not a common practice. Plus, people also take the task as an additional expense, which drives them away.

It all comes down to what satisfies your eyes and looks good to you. So, you can consult your interior designer or even painters for the job and get it done. This is all about painting inside cabinet drawers. I hope it helps.
