So, I found out that two free preventive maintenance services, which include only labour, are provided during the warranty period, which is 1 year. If you wish to avail of these services, you can register a call at the LG call centre number 1800 315 9999 or 1800 180 9999.
Once the 12-month period has expired from the date of purchase of the AC, you are not eligible for any free services.
Apart from this, LG provides 4 or 9 years of additional warranty on the compressor which will continue even after the expiry of the 1-year warranty time from the date of purchase. This warranty is only applicable to the compressor. The gas charging facility is included in the service only when your AC’s compressor doesn’t respond or has a defect.
