False Ceiling Price Estimation?

I am planning to install a false ceiling to conceal the electrical work on my ceiling. As a result, I recently consulted a renovation contractor to get an idea of the false ceiling estimate cost. He said that the cost depends on a lot of factors, mainly the type of false ceiling that is opted for. I’d like to share the price estimate that he shared with me for different types of false ceilings.

What is the False Ceiling Cost Estimation?

• Laminate: The laminate's finishing may have an impact on the price. However, the approximate price range that was shared with me was between Rs. 700 - Rs. 800 per sq. ft. (+ 18% GST)

• Veneer: Depending on the veneer's base price and polish type (PU or melamine), the pricing may change. The approximate price ranges between Rs. 900 to Rs. 1,200 per sq. ft. (+ 18% GST)

• PVC: Rs. 160 to Rs. 185 per sq. ft. (+ 18% GST)

These are just the approximate rates that I got from the contractor. Out of these I am planning to opt for laminate false ceiling because veneer false ceilings are more expensive than laminate ones. This is so because laminate is a finished product, but veneer and solid wood need to be polished.
