A name can be transferred and reactivated by following the below tips:

  • For reactivation, you must go to the state's AePDS official website.

  • The next step is to seek the option to correct your ration card.

  • Fill out the form on the ration card correction page to look for your ration number.

  • Make the necessary corrections if the government invalidated your ration card due to an error in the information on the card.

  • Correct as necessary, then visit your PDS office to submit a reconsideration application.

  • You will be able to reactivate your ration card if your application for activation is approved.
