You can sell your rental property legally as there is no such rule that can restrict you to do so. The tenant cannot oppose this decision as the tenant has no such right. However, you cannot force the tenant to vacate the property immediately. You should inform the tenants in advance about vacating the property as mentioned in the rental agreement or lease agreement. Apart from this, you also need to pay back the deposit amount on time before selling the property to someone else.
