Hi Charan, I shifted to Bangalore about 8 years ago and it has been a mixed bag of a feeling living here. I will tell you how is Bangalore for living.

How is Bangalore to Live?

Bangalore is a city which has lots to offer. There are both good and bad sides of living in this city. Let me begin with the positives:

Positives of Living in Bangalore

1. Economic Growth: The economic growth in this city is one of the best in India. The pace is rapid and you can expect more in the years to come.

2. Infrastructural development: The city has already seen a lot of infrastructural development and it is still continuing with city expansions, tech hubs and other hotshots coming up.

3. Quality of Life: Bengaluru in my opinion offers a rich quality of life. You will get the best of everything here. 

4. Booming Real Estate: Real estate is one of the main reasons why I have a house here. The market is not going to slow down with high rental income and property value of houses here. 

Negatives

1. Traffic: The traffic in the city is a big issue as the population is a lot in comparison to the available road plan. The roads are slim with a lot of room for improvement.

2. High Cost of Living: Bangalore has a higher cost of living when compared to other cities. It can be tough to sustain in the city if you don’t keep your finances in line.

The positives do outweigh the negatives here. In my opinion, it is a good city to live in but you would have to make a few adjustments too. 

If you ask me is Bangalore good place to live, I would say, it absolutely is. But I am not going to be biased here based on my personal preferences 😀

3. Plethora of Educational Institutions:

   If you are moving here for studies, you must already know that Bangalore is renowned for its educational institutions, including the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, the National Law School of India University, and numerous top-ranked engineering colleges. 

4. Cost of Living:

   I should also tell you that compared to other major metropolitan cities in India, Bangalore has a higher cost of living. Accommodation, food, and transportation are generally more high-budgeted, here.

5. Cosmopolitan Lifestyle and Entertainment:

   I also think that Bangalore caters to a diverse range of interests, offering a vibrant nightlife, trendy restaurants, and a variety of shopping options. The city also hosts numerous cultural events, festivals, and concerts throughout the year, providing ample opportunities for entertainment and socializing.
