The wallpaper had to be measured and cut carefully to fit the height and width of each section of the wall. This took roughly 30 minutes to an hour, as mine was a medium sized room. But this also depends on the room size and wallpaper pattern.
The painter applied wallpaper paste evenly to the back of each strip. He made sure the paste was evenly spread, which took about 10-15 minutes per strip.
Hanging the wallpaper was done strip by strip, ensuring the pattern aligned perfectly. It took around 15-20 minutes per strip. For a medium-sized room, this step lasted a couple of hours.
After hanging all the strips, any excess wallpaper was trimmed, and bubbles or wrinkles were smoothed out. This finishing step took another 30-45 minutes.
Overall, it took about half a day to wallpaper a medium-sized room. Larger rooms, tricky patterns, or more detailed work might take longer.
