The answer to how many hours to clean a 3 bed house will depend on factors like the size of the house, the type of cleaning you are opting for, your speed of working or cleaning and other factors. Since our 3 BHK area is 1600, it takes 1.5 to 2 hours for ordinary cleaning and for deep cleaning it takes around 4-5 hours. Let me share the bifurcation for different types of cleaning.

How Long to Deep Clean a 3 Bed House?

To calculate the time required to clean a three-bedroom house, it's important to consider the various rooms and tasks involved. For a standard cleaning of a 1600-square-foot home, it should take around 1.5-2 hours. 

For a deep clean, which includes scrubbing and cleaning grout, it takes approximately 2.5–3 hours per 1000 square feet, which is about 4-5 hours for a 1600-square-foot house.

Here is the cleaning time bifurcation:

  • Bedrooms: Each bedroom takes about 20-40 minutes, around 1-2 hours in total

  • Bathrooms: Each bathroom requires 20-45 minutes, so for two bathrooms, it’s 40–90 minutes.

  • Kitchen: It generally takes 20-45 minutes, but it could take over an hour if it is very dirty.

Deep cleaning tasks that take extra time are:

  1. Cleaning blinds

  2. Oven cleaning

  3. Cleaning the refrigerator

  4. Baseboards

The time to clean a 3 BHK you depend on what things you want to clean like
  • which rooms you want to clean
  • what goods like sofa, curtains, windows or others you are planning to clean
  • whether you want machine cleaning or manual cleaning or such other aspects
It should be done within a 3-4 days but its better you ask the cleaners about it. I hired NoBroker's cleaners to deep clean our 2 BHK and it was done within two days.
