I have been to Mumbai several times and it’s my favourite place. Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra, an Indian state. It is India's most populated city, as well as the country's most populous metropolitan area and the world's seventh most populous metropolis. Mumbai is located along the Arabian Sea on India's central-western coast. It is a peninsula made up of seven connected islands that are now connected to the mainland via bridges. The main section of the city is situated in the peninsula's southern claw-shaped extremity. So let’s see the list of districts in Mumbai.

How many districts in Mumbai?

The city of Mumbai is famously separated into two sections: the Town and the Suburbs. As a result, the entire old city of Bombay was designated as the 'town,' while the newly incorporated regions of Salsette and Trombay were designated as the new suburbs. As a result, "TOWN" now refers to the entire island of Bombay, from Colaba in the south to Mahim and Sion in the north. Mumbai City District is a Maharashtra district in the Konkan Division.

It does not have a headquarters or subdivisions as a city district. It is part of the Mumbai metropolitan, which also includes the Mumbai Suburban District.
