According to the latest rules introduced by the Labor Ministry, an individual can make withdrawal from the Provident Fund (PF) account twice. Members can make a second non-refundable advance from their EPF accounts. This change was considered to be incredibly helpful during the COVID lockdown.

People who have a PF account can withdraw money that is equal to three months of their basic salary plus dearness allowance or 75% of the net balance in their PF or EPF account (depending on what is lower).
