Most of us dream of purchasing a home and decorating the home with beautiful furniture and showpieces. I also had this dream and thankfully by the grace of God, my dream became my reality. I wanted my home to be perfect, unique, and comfortable. I searched on the internet and looked at some 5-minute crafts. I went to a consultancy service and asked them how much does an interior designer cost. They said that there are different packages for hiring interior designers. I hired an interior designer to furnish my house two years back. She told me she will charge around Rs. 150 per sq. ft. We negotiated on Rs.100. 

The interior designer helped me set up the kitchen, main hall, and bedroom. 

She picked up all the furniture and showpieces by herself. Before purchasing the furniture we discussed thoroughly the details of how the showpieces and the furniture would look like. She also discussed how many members will stay in the house, their lifestyle needs, and so on.  Usually, an interior designer charges 5-6% extra to set the furniture and showpieces. I also installed a false ceiling in my living room.

In total it took me 1.5 lakh rupees to set up my house. I am extremely happy with work.
