How to Add GST Additional Place of Business?
Adding a place of business to your GST registration is crucial for compliance if you expand operations to a new location. All you need to do is follow the below steps.
Visit
www.gst.gov.in
and log in using your username and password.
Go to the “Services” and select “Registration.”
Then click on “Amendment of Registration Non-Core Fields.”
In the amendment form, go to the “Additional Places of Business” tab. Click “Add New” to input details about the new location, including:
Name of the premises.
Address (state, district, PIN, etc.).
Nature of the business conducted at the new place (e.g., warehouse, branch, etc.).
Provide proof of the additional place of business, such as a rent agreement, electricity bill, property tax receipt, or consent letter from the property owner.
Double-check all details and click on “Save & Continue.”
Submit the amendment request using your Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or EVC (Electronic Verification Code).
