Hey Pal,

It is preferable to input the bank account information of the person to whom you frequently or occasionally want to send money in order to make the transfer process simpler. You need to designate a new beneficiary in banking lingo. As a client of the Indian bank, I recently added a beneficiary and would want to share with you all the procedure of how to add beneficiary in Indian bank net banking.

How to add beneficiary in Indian bank app?

  • Visit Indian Bank's official website.

Click here to visit Indian Bank website
  • Utilize your user name (customer ID) and password to access your account (IPIN)

  • Look for the "Payments & Transfers" tab in the menu.

  • Go to the "Payments & Transfers" page and choose "Manage Beneficiary."

  • You must now choose the Inter Bank option (when the beneficiary's account is in a bank other than an Indian bank).

  • Pick "Add Payee" from the menu.

  • In the appropriate columns, enter the Payee's or Beneficiary's personal information, such as:

  1. Name of Beneficiary

  2. Account Number

  3. Beneficiary Bank Name

  4. Name of Beneficiary's Branch

  5. IFSC Code

  6. Transfer limits

  • Check the box next to "I Accept Terms & Conditions" at the bottom of the page.

  • Select "Confirm" or "Continue" from the menu.

  • The second tier of security will be a One Time Password (OTP) texted to your registered mobile number.

  • Enter the OTP to validate the beneficiary's registration.

  • After that, the beneficiary will be added, and you'll get a message that you've done so.

  • Within a few minutes or hours, the newly added beneficiary will become active.

  • You can add money to the beneficiary's account after the beneficiary has been activated.

The beneficiary's bank must refund the funds to the sending bank if the beneficiary's account is not credited for any reason. The branch of the remitting bank credits the amount to the sender's account as soon as it receives this money back.

I would like to conclude here about how to add beneficiary in Indian bank net banking. I hope this helps:)
