You are only permitted to transfer a total of Rs. 5,00,000 to the beneficiary you added within the initial 4 days following activation. The whole daily limit that you established, up to a maximum of Rs. 5 lakh, would then be made accessible.

How to add a beneficiary to your SBI account?

  • Check SBI bank’s main site.

  • Use your user name (customer ID) and password to access your account (IPIN).

  • Go to the "Payments & Transfers" page and choose "Manage Beneficiary."

  • Select the "Confirm" or "Continue" button.

  • You will get a One Time Password (OTP) to your registered cell phone number.

  • Submit the OTP to confirm the beneficiary's activation.

  • The beneficiary will then be registered. The beneficiary will then be enabled in a few moments or hours.

How to add a beneficiary with the YONO app?

  • Launch the YONO app on your smartphone.

  • Open the app, log in, and select "Yono Pay."

  • Choose 'Profile Management' then.

  • Then select "Add/Manage Beneficiary."

  • Next, enter the password for your SBI internet banking profile and click the Submit button.

  • The next stage is to determine how you will transfer funds to the beneficiary.

  • Select next after clicking on "Account Number."

  • If you want to make a beneficiary for an SBI Account holder, select SBI Account, submit account information, and then tap Next.

  • Select Bank Account if you want to add a person with a different bank account.

  • Enter the account information and press Next.

  • You have the choice to pay Rs.1 to add a beneficiary.

  • You can click the "Pay" option after submitting your comments.

  • After that, press the "Confirm" button.

  • Your registered cellphone number will receive a One Time Password(OTP) that has been generated. Enter the OTP and then select "Next."

  • Your beneficiary will be confirmed within 24 hours.

What is the SBI RTGS beneficiary activation time?

Beneficiaries authorised after 8:00 PM will be active at 8:00 AM the following day (IST). You can start sending money to the new recipient when it’s activated. In the first four days following activation, you may transfer a total of Rs. 1,000,000 to a new beneficiary.
