My daughter’s age was 4 years old, and for some government applications, we had to apply for a Baal Aadhaar card. But, I wasn’t aware of how to apply Aadhaar card for child below 5 years old. So, I researched it and found I could apply for the official UIDAI website. The application process is very similar to that of adults. I have added the steps I came across below.
Process of Aadhar Card Online Apply for Child Below 5 Years
Here are the steps that I came across and followed.
Visit the official
UIDAI websiteand select your preferred language.
Next, locate and click on My Aadhaar tab and select the Book Appointment option.
Select your preferred location and click on Proceed to Book Appointment.
Enter your mobile number and then on Get OTP.
Provide the OTP and choose an appointment date.
Go to the Aadhaar centre on the scheduled date.
The parents need to provide their Aadhaar card details and biometrics. This will be linked to the Baal Aadhaar. Also, submit all the other necessary documents. This is all about how to get Aadhar card below 5 years.
