Hey there,

A friend of mine recently told me what is online building plan approval system. I was shocked and thankful to know there is an online system in place that ensures the layout of under construction buildings is in accordance with standard rules and regulations.  Take a look at my answer to know more.

All the building plans need to be approved by the regulatory authority. Due to technological advancements, an online system has been put in place where citizens can submit their building plan for inspection and online building plan approval. This streamlines and expedites the process for everyone involved.

How to apply building plan approval online ?

All states have their own portals where you can apply for building plan approval. If you live in Patna, follow the process given below. 

  • Open the citizen portal  of Patna Nagar Nigam ( Building Plan Approval System).

     

  • Register with your name and log in. 

  • Open the AutoMap and add details about

    the land (plot) . 

  • Mention property details as well. 

  • Further, assign a registered technical person and builder in the AutoMap itself. 

  • Upload your application 

  • Scan and attach all the required documents as well. 

  • Further, upload a secured client utility file. 

  • Pay the application fee via netbanking 

  • Hit on submit
