After that, you will be required to fill up these forms for voter ID as per the respective case:
Form 8: To change details, such as the name, address, photo, age, DOB, etc.
Form 8A: To change resident address from one location to another in the same constituency.
Form 6: To apply for a new voter ID and shift of constituency.
Form 6A: Election card application if you are an NRI voter.
You can find these forms for election card online application on the portal. All you are required to do is choose the right option.
After that, attach the required documents as specified in the form as well as a photograph. Then tap on “Submit”.
After the submission, an email will be sent to your email address containing a link to a personal Voter's ID page. This will allow you to track your voter ID application. You should receive your Voter ID card within a month of your application. Now you know how to apply for voter ID card in Delhi online as well as in other states.
