However, according to a Telecom Talk report, Airtel Digital TV has eliminated the additional Network Capacity Fee (NCF) on long-term packs for its customers. The change came after NCF on base packs was waived by Tata Sky, Sun Direct TV, and Dish TV.

Basic highlight about how to remove NCF charges in Airtel DTH:

  • The Network Capacity Fee is now being eliminated by Airtel.

  • Only long-term plans, beginning with 3-month policies, are eligible for the benefit.

  • The base pack's price of Rs 130 and the applicable GST of 18% are both included in the NCF.

According to the updated price rules offered by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Airtel Digital TV has changed its network capacity fee (NCF) (TRAI). With the most recent adjustment, the direct-to-home (DTH) provider located in Delhi would charge users who choose up to 200 SD channels an NCF of Rs. 130 (excluding taxes). Previously, Airtel offered 100 SD channels for an NCF of Rs. 130. Tata Sky recently updated their NCF structure to comply with the changes made by TRAI under the National Tariff Order 2.0 that went into effect, just like Airtel Digital TV did.
