The tray ceiling, as the name refers, resembles a ceiling shaped like an upside down tray and usually the centre part of it is between 6 and 14 inches higher than the perimeter. It breaks the stereotypical architectural flat ceiling and proves an elegant and luxurious look to the room thereby adding much value to it. The best part is, such ceilings tend to make a room seem larger and spacious and also gives an ornamental look to the room.
