I work in a real-estate company, and upon learning about the person living next door, asked me how to get MHADA flat. I wasn’t aware of that, and I promised to get back to him after learning about the process. To know about the right steps, I did some research and learned that to get an MHADA flat, one needs to visit the official website of MHADA and register on it.

, you need to create a username and fill out the required details. Here is what you need to do after you are done with the above steps. 

• Enter your mobile number and provide the OTP that you receive on it. 

• Doing this will verify your mobile number, and you will log into the online portal of MHADA with that. 

• Now, select the scheme that you want to apply for.

• Next, fill in all the details, such as income, applicant type, scheme code, etc.

• After that, pay the necessary amount. You can choose the mode of payment.

And that’s it. Now, you need to check the winners of the lottery once they are announced on the official MHADA website. If you don’t end up winning the lottery, the amount is sent back to your bank account. Hope this helps.

If you want to buy an MHADA flat, then you just need to follow the below steps:

• Scroll your mouse over the Lottery section and tap on “Online Lottery.”

• Go to your respective city lottery board.

• Create an account or sign in with an already existing one.

• Input information about yourself and your family, including name, date of birth, occupation, marital status, gender, residential address, and so on.

• Enter your professional information on the next page.

• Acknowledge that you and your family are moving into their first home.

• Finally, use NEFT or RTGS and pay the application fee.

An acknowledgment slip will be given to you once the procedure is finished. This is the process my driver performed to get his own house.

There are two ways to buy a MHADA flat. You can buy a MHADA flat as the lottery is announced. You will have to fill the MHADA application form, submit registration fee, documents, etc. and wait for the shortlist to have your name for further process.
