To calculate the square footage of your room you need to know the length and breadth of the house. Then you need to multiply the length and breadth of the room and you will get the measurement in square feet. I will give you an example: let's say the width of the room is 20 ft and the height of the room is 13 ft so the measurement will be 20x 30ft = 260 square feet.

Now, you might be wondering how to calculate the measurement of the entire house. For that, you need to calculate the area of each room and add them. So let's say the measurement of living room, bedroom, bathroom and hallway are 500, 400, 200 and 100 square feet each. So the sub-total measurement will be 500 + 400 + 200 + 100 = 1,200 square feet.
