• Go to

  https://voters.eci.gov.in/

• Search for Fill Form 8 and tap on it.

• Utilise the login password you generated at the time of registration along with your EPIC number or registered mobile number. Enter your information and the captcha code, then click "Request OTP."

• Mention the OTP to log in to your account.

• Give all necessary information, including your EPIC and Aadhaar numbers, as well as your contact information and email address. 

• To verify your current residence, you must present a valid address proof. Without proof, it is not possible to proceed with further process.

• Fill out the form with the feed information, then press "Submit."

To make sure that your new address is accurately presented, it is advised that you verify the status online. You will get a new voter card with the amended address after your request is confirmed. I have recently relocated to a different place. Hence, I changed my address in the Voter card by updating the new one. I would like to share my experience on how to change address in voter card? One of the most significant documents granted by the government is a voter ID card. It is also referred to as an electoral card issued by the Indian Election Commission. 

For other uses, such as applying for a passport, it acts as generic identification, address, and age proof. It was initially implemented in 1993, under the tenure of TN Seshan, the Chief Election Commissioner.

A voter ID card allows the possessor to vote in elections and select the officials to govern the country, create laws, and run the country, state, or municipal government. The Indian Constitution grants the right to vote to all Indian citizens over the age of 18, subject to certain limitations.

I would like to share the offline procedures to change the address on the Voter ID card. 

• Pick up a copy of Form 8A, the Application for Transposition of Entry in the Election Roll, from your local electoral office

• Complete the form with your complete name, state or union territory, constituency, and address, among other information

• Attach verification of your current residential address, such as a copy of your electric/telephone bills, a bank passbook, or other official documents

• Fill out the form and mail it to the electoral office closest to your home. You'll be given a reference number that you can use to track your voter registration status

• Your application will be reviewed, and if it passes, you will be given a voter ID card with your revised address printed on it

• You will also receive notice that your name has been added to the electoral roll of the constituency in which you presently reside
