Have you moved to a new home or relocated? Do you intend to know, how to change home branch in SBI net banking? Your State Bank of India (SBI) account can now be moved more easily to a different branch.

Eligibility requirements for the SBI home branch change using the internet banking facility using OTP Mode:
  • Only SBI accounts can be transferred using this option.

  • Accounts with insufficient KYC would not be able to use this option.

  • There is no option for inoperative savings Bank accounts.

  • The CAG, MCG, CPC, and any other similar specialised branches should not be the transferee branch.

  • The customer must choose where he or she wants the CIF to be maintained if they have many accounts at the transferor branch and they choose to transfer only one or part of them (but not all).

  • The CIF must be compelled to be transferred to the new Branch in all other circumstances, such as when the customer has just one account or decides to transfer all of his accounts.
