To change name on property you will have to do the following:
  1. Submit an application request name change in the property documents to the SRO of your locality
  2. Publish an advertisement in leading daily newspaper (local and national) informing the name change in said documents.
  3. Get a notification published in Gazette of India.
Once that is done, a careful evaluation of all the information provided will be done by the SRO officials and upon verification the name change process will be initiated.
