In the HDFC Bank, my sister has savings accounts. She had to update the new number because she had lost her old one. She questioned me about the procedure, so I looked it up online and discovered the following steps:

  • Visit the nearest HDFC ATM.

  • Enter the debit card.

  • Choose the language in which you want to proceed.

  • Go to Main Menu. This will lead you to the following screen, where you may see more services.

  • Tap on More Options.

  • Choose “Update Registered Mobile Number.”

  • Input your new number and tap on Confirm.

  • Confirm your new contact details by entering them again.

  • Mention your PIN to get finally processed.
