My friend works as a banker at HDFC Bank. A few days back, I asked him how to check NRI CIBIL Report to know my score. He informed me that you could easily obtain your CIBIL score from NoBroker as well as online credit bureaus and financial institutions. He provided a detailed process to check the CIBIL score via each of the previously mentioned techniques. At the end, I used NoBroker to verify my CIBIL Score since I found the process to be quite easy as compared to the other two. I have shared them below for you guys.

Steps for NRI CIBIL Score Check

Let’s check out the detailed steps that my friend provided to get NRI CIBIL score below:

• Sign in with your mobile number on nobroker.in.

• Tap on this

• From the left side of your screen, mention your name and mobile number.

• Do choose between Yes or No under “Property Finalized” section.

• Tap on the checkbox to agree terms and conditions.

• Mention your email address and PAN number.

• Finally, hit the Generate CIBIL Score button.

• Visit

  .

• Now, tap on “Get Your CIBIL Score” from the homepage.

• Input all the required information like email address, password, name, ID type with a number, date of birth, mobile number, and so on.

• Hit the “Accept and Continue” button.

• You will receive an OTP. 

• Finally, mention the received OTP and tap on Submit. The following screen will show your CIBIL Score.

Most banks offer a facility to check CIBIL score on their official website. You can check it as the steps are almost similar.

• 300 to 599 - Low

• 600 to 749 - Average

• 750 and above - Good

These are the basic methods to check CIBIL Score for NRI. 

A CIBIL report refers to the credit report provided by the Credit Information Bureau India Limited (CIBIL), which is one of the leading credit bureaus in India. It contains detailed information about an individual's credit history and creditworthiness. Banks usually have the provision of checking CIBIL score online. My cousin, who lives in Canada, asked me to help him get the NRI CIBIL report. He has an account in SBI so I resolved to start researching it. Yes, SBI has the provision to check the CIBIL report online. Here is how you can do it-

• Enter your first name, gender, DoB, address, state and more details

• Provide PAN or other identity details

• Agree to their Terms and Conditions

• Click on Submit and get to check your CIBIL report for free

You can use other platforms to do the CIBIL score for NRI check but checking through a reliable bank’s website will, of course, be better. You can also use

portal and get it. Just go for a reliable platform; that is all I will suggest.
