But I wanted to understand the process of CMDA approval check. I wanted to know how to check the status of CMDA approval plan. I will share a brief process on CMDA approval check. Hope this will help you.

How to check building plan approval status in Chennai?

1. You can visit the CMDA website at:

http://www.cmdachennai.gov.in/approved_layout.html

1. Select the year of CMDA-approved land.

2. After selecting the tab, you will be redirected to a page where you will find a list of CMDA-approved lands.

3. You can search your land by filling in your Search approved no. PPD/ Local body/ Village, Layouts.

4. After searching you will be able to generate your approved layout.

5. Go to the View Layout option to generate the CMDA approval status.

The only con about this process is that you cannot generate all CMDA-approved lands. If you are unable to find your CMDA-approved land you can visit the Municipal corporation, or Panchayats, Panchayat Union Office. Talk to authorities to obtain the Chennai corporation plan approval status.
