The DTCP, or Directorate of Town and Country Planning, approves building designs as well as technical layouts. I see you're having trouble figuring out how to check DTCP layout confirmation or approval. I feel I can assist you because I have gone through the procedure myself. 

  • You can ask the seller to show you an official land copy to see if the layout has been approved by DTCP in Telangana. 

  • You can also check the Telangana Government's DTCP website to see if the layout has been authorised or not. 

  • Select district and ULB names, and

Click on Telangana Government’s DTCP website 

  • You will be led to the next page after clicking it, where you will be prompted to log in using your credentials, followed by your registered cellphone number and file number. When you've finished filling out these fields, click on Show Status

  • You can also check DTCP approval with the local government body in your area where the property is located.
