Hey buddy. When I researched how to check patta number in TamilNadu, I came across this page. I followed R. Soumya's instructions, but at that time the site was showing invalid access. So, I enquired about it my neighbour and he informed me that it could be found on the Land Records e-services or Tamil Nadu e-services website.

How to Check My Patta Number in TamilNadu?

The government of Tamil Nadu issues a Patta number in the name of the property’s actual owner. I followed the procedures listed below, as informed by my neighbour, to find out my patta number:

  •  I first visited the official website of the Department of Survey and Settlement, Government of Tamil Nadu -

    https://eservices.tn.gov.in/eservicesnew/index.html

    .

  •  I then scrolled down and tapped on “View Patta / Chitta” option.

  • Following that, I selected my district, taluk and village.

  • As I had the survey number with me, I chose “View Patta/Chitta using Survey Number.”

  • After that, I chose the land type between Rural and Natham.

  • I mentioned my survey number and selected the sub division number from the dropdown list.

  • Finally, I entered the authentication value and submitted it. An online certificate from the Town Survey Land Register including the details of the property was issued to me after the submission. The building type, patta number, and other details of my property were included on the certificate.

Additionally, my neighour said that if you are carrying the documents, you can begin by checking from the top as this typically includes Patta Number. I hope you get an idea of how to check patta number online in TamilNadu.
